Title: Safety Lab Technician

Duration: Full Time Employment

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Full-time non-exempt position for TÜV America Inc. located in Alpharetta, GA.

Occasional off-shift and/or off-site meetings as necessary. Hours beyond the normal work week are often required to satisfy client deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests
• Generate computer generated test data
• Maintain equipment calibrations
• Maintain proficiency with the latest lab and testing procedures
• Keep laboratory organized
• Keep abreast of present and future Product Safety requirements, test procedures, instrumentation, technology and TÜV Product Service capabilities by internal training sessions, external seminars and reading of technical articles.

Qualification

Education and Experience:

• Assoc. Degree Electronics or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years job related experience
• Working knowledge of Word for Windows and Excel.
