License: ARDMS or ARRT (S) required Certifications: RVT or RVS, BLS (AHA or ARC) required Must-Have: - Experience with vascular sonography- Skills in using Parks Flow Lab, GE e10, Hokanson rapid cuff inflator- Knowledge of the Merge reporting PACS system and EPIC EMR- Physical ability for moderate to heavy efforts in lifting/moving up to 600 pounds with assistance Job Description: - Prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.- Perform ultrasound exams following departmental protocols and standards.- Provide adequate patient care for the requested exam.- Operate ultrasound and associated equipment proficiently.- Examine requests and verify orders for each assigned patient.- Assist radiologists in performing invasive procedures.- Evaluate the technical quality of exams and develop varied techniques for improved efficiency.- Support and contribute to the patient-centered care philosophy, understanding all staff members are caregivers.- Report malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel.- Operate radiology computer systems including entering and charging exams and supplies.- Maintain a neat and orderly assigned work area.- Keep the work area fully stocked.- Adhere to departmental rules and regulations and maintain professionalism.
