Deliver comprehensive, compassionate and quality patient care to a wide variety of community-oriented health services/programs. Under the direction and guidance of the professional staff, registered nurse and LPN, performs a variety of clinical/ clerical duties that support Primary Care and specialty services. The Medical Assistant completes tasks to provide effective patient care maintains the environment, equipment and supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education Required HS Diploma or Equivalence
2. License/Certification/Registration(s) Required Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
3. Experience/Skills Required- One (1) year previous experience in a medical 2setting of relevant experience required. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred. Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital orientation.
